This is the first of its kind, using Perilla as the main scent. The tropical scent mixed in with the sourness of makauy pepper and lemon feels like a kitten tip-toeing into a greenhouse. Frankincense is the heart note acting as a transition to the gentle base note of Neroli and Benzoin.

Perilla is eaten in Asia as a palate cleanser between each dish at an omakase. It signifies the transition between each piece of sushi. It is similar to the transition between the top note and the base note of perfume. Similarly, this fragrance symbolizes sunset, the transition between night and day, like Rothko’s color palate, each color mixes in with one another, transitioning from one scent to another, at the hands of the perfumer.
